Kurban graduated from the NFTS and began working with Sally Potter producing “The Party” and co-producing “The Roads Not Taken” which premiered in competition at Berlinale 2017 and 2020 respectively. He has also worked with a number of emerging directors through the Film London Microwave Scheme and iFeatures producing “The Hungry”, which premiered at TIFF 2017 and sold to Amazon Studios, and comedy “Brakes". His interactive feature “Late Shift” won a Bafta Cymru in 2018. Kurban previously worked for Pulse Films and then Turbine Studios across their film and television slates including “20,000 Days on Earth" and “Small Axe”. He is an alumni of the ACE Producers programme, Inside Pictures and Film London’s Breaking the Glass Ceiling leadership course.
