Archery Pictures is an independent production company founded in 2014 by Kris Thykier, encompassing his successful film company PeaPie Films. We are a team of creatives, driven by a passion to create bold, original and high-end film and television for international audiences.
Archery has produced Riviera, a ten-part thriller for Sky Atlantic set against the backdrop of the opulent Côte d’Azur. Starring Julia Stiles and Adrian Lester, Riviera broke records by becoming Sky’s most downloaded box set ever. The State, a harrowing four-part drama written and directed by award-winner Peter Kosminsky was recently nominated for two Baftas. Riviera Series 2 recently finished filming in Nice and will return to screens in 2019.
The most glamorous show on television is back. Currently filming in Nice and Monaco, the second season of Sky’s most successful original production “Riviera” has just dropped an explosive new teaser trailer...
Set in the sun-soaked south of France, the second series picks up in the aftermath of the shocking first series finale, with returning cast members Julia Stiles, Lena Olin, Roxane Duran and Dimitri Leonidas joined by Will Arnett, Juliet Stevenson, Poppy Delevingne, Jack Fox and Grégory Fitoussi.
While the Clios family contend with the devastation caused by Constantine’s death, Georgina’s focus is on getting away with murder. However, things become even more complicated with the introduction of the Elthams, an aristocratic English family with secrets of their own. Juliet Stevenson takes on the role of Lady Cassandra Eltham and is joined on the Riviera by her children, the impossibly stylish Daphne (Delevingne) and the brooding Nico (Fox).
Meanwhile, Georgina (Stiles) is reunited with her charismatic uncle Jeff (Arnett) and we learn more about the troubled past she left behind in America. She also becomes entangled with the handsome and mysterious Noah (Fitoussi).
This new season promises to give fans even more of what they love, with more glamour, more intrigue and more betrayal: all set against the gorgeous backdrop of the playground of the super-rich.
Filming is currently taking place on location in Nice with the series set to return to Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in 2019. The first season of Riviera was Sky’s most successful original commission to date with a total audience of 2.3m per episode, and over 20m downloads and views.
Riviera is a Sky original production in association with Altice Studios. Produced by Archery Pictures, Primo Productions and Sky, the executive producers are Kris Thykier, Paul McGuinness and Cameron Roach for Sky.
